Looking for photos of 40' Bells please

Arran Aird of C Rail has produced some 20' Bells and is now looking for prototype pics of the 40's

HI ALL

 

All being well i will have a sample of the 40ft Bell on the Realtrack stand at warley, but i will post pics here as well.

Also the 30ft Bulk container is something i have as a kit, i have enough info to do a set of transfers for that as well as the paint specs.

 

The question is is there enough people to sell at least 150 set of transfers to do the run to make it worth while.

I had a look at that sheet and every thing looks Ok but I can't see any Bell on it

I don't think you will have a problem sell that amount along with the kits. Is it just the Bell Bulk decals or will you also be including the plain old Bell decals as well

Once anyone sees the quality of the 20' Bells, I'm sure they'll be a customer for the 30' Bulks as well. Wouldn't imagine 150 would be any problem.

I will look into that as theres time to change yet, as its only the sample im getting, ive come across a few differences on the look myself especially on the ends. The only comment i would have on what you are showing is the middle leg of the E being as thick as the top and bottom my info says that should be narrower.

Some times you can look at things till your blue in the face and not spot the mistake as i see what i want to see.

Bell containers were common at the Willesden Freightliner/Channel Tunnel container terminal in North London in the 90s, used to pass it most days on the daily commute into the big smoke. I am not sure whether they arrived on services through the Chunnel or the South West as they rarely appeared on the WCML.

 

At one time Bell traffic was conveyed on both scheduled and company trains in the UK and on the Continent, one of the more unusual traffics carried was spagetti from McDonalds of Drogheda to Italy
