The UG is likely to be built from a set of Worsley Works "Scratchbuilders Parts" introduced in the early 2000.

Certainly built into a fine looking model

All superb models - would slot in very nicely at Brookhall Mill........

Hope to have our 21mm layout Loughrea up and running after our 3 day show in October
Working hard on reviving another of our older layouts for the show.

That’s been beautifully made. Really captures the look of a GN PP class in working condition. Nice to see brake rigging both on loco and tender.

202 was Louth but this cannot be 202! The only flaw on this superb model. This is a U of the 1915 batch. 202 was of the 1948 batch - the ones with side window can and LMS style tender as modelled by OO Works.

Northstar Design/Studio Scale Models may have produced a kit for the original 1915 version, Worsley Works a set of scratchbuilders parts for the 1948 version and OO Works a OO rtr model of the U. TMD/SSM also produced the widely used GNR T2 4-4-2T which was basically a tank version of the U Class.

The GNR U and its variations has been covered quite comprehensively in kit and rtr form.

Your GNR locos look lovely. You've got a wee job to do renumbering your "U"  - the 1915 ones didn't have "County" names, so you're stuck with choosing your favourite "Lough" - No.199 was Lough Derg, went to CIE and was the last survivor there.

It may have been mentioned before, but the T Tanks were a "U" Class with tanks and a bunker! I always thought them rather nice little locos (hence three 4mm ones on my layout!

Is there a project all these gems are part of?

As previously stated we have a 21mm layout in the club, Loughrea which we hope to get up and running hopefully after our 3 day show in October
These models turned up and after seeing them in the flesh I could not resist them
I hope to put a small test track together soon and give them a run to see if they run as well as they look
