Cheers- l have to own up and say a friend did up some printouts of the roadway to the exact width and length with bus and road markings and l fitted them on the baseboard then. I added the various street furniture, shrubbery, signage and footpaths after but l was very happy with the result!!

Seems the basis of a good, clear idea there and while there might be tweaks along the way, l'd say go for it and continue enjoying the execution of the plan to enjoy it all! -
Always nice to see retro liveried 071 at close quarters around North Wall this Monday afternoon. Mix of modern IÉ logo on old livery.
-
Cheers- credit to Irrailways Weathering Services from @Dempsey here for that! Well spotted! Fallen flag container remaining in use!

085 leads the liner through the outskirts of Dublin after leaving Heuston North a short while earlier.

Love the signs! They were one of the parts l liked doing the most on mine

Looks great progress- well done!!

Only saw this now- Wow! Really top class, so realistic and not overdone- spot on! No less than you'd expect though
-
Wow! Only saw this now- looks excellent. It was a lot of hard work by the look of it but really makes a big difference. Well done
-
Excellent! Hard to get it spot on sometimes but you nailed it.

Nice picture from Colm O'Callaghan's book 'Irish Traction- larnród Éireann' showing 219 fresh in the new Intercity Livery in June 2006. You wouldn't think the Green/Silver 201 era crossed over with the Guiness kegs- they kind of seem different eras!
-
Great idea- l know l will be in the minority but l am a big fan of anything 201-related!! I like the fact they are still around hauling passenger trains, aswell as the freight and you can see them 'up close' everyday. The 201 'yellow faces' began in the orange livery in 2005 and the Green/Silver 'Intercity' livery began (with the same 'yellow faces') in mid 2006.

They look very impressive

I always am impressed by quality modelling done a long time ago. It must have been so much harder to do anything 'back then' such as getting or sourcing materials or equipment, no quick 'googling' of an image if you were trying to recreate something and the costs must have been proportionately so much more expensive than today. Fair play on this- looks great!

Cheers! Most of all that weathering on the wagons, containers etc was thanks to Irrailways Weathering Services from @Dempsey here!

A quiet Sunday in the freight yard of Heuston North- with a set of Tara Mines wagons and empty container flats parked in the sidings. 146 idles in another siding.

Love the power washer!!!

Yes, echoing the other comments here, it's really impressive. Very authentic- the viaduct looks great.
