You do get a free wall cabinet if you buy all 6 though. They're beautiful locos and I have a few A4s already, but these with a premium didn't appeal to me.
I have a Walthers one that looks similar but not quite as beefy. I plan tying up a wrecked Athearn SW1500 body I have going spare to it. http://www.ovrtrains.com/Walthers-Platinum-Line-Rolling-Stock-66-Heavy-Duty-4-Truck-Flatcar-Union-Pacific-50032.html
70s due early January.
Best pic yet. I have to say this confirms to me that they're nicer in Colas than in Freightliner, but by god they're still mingers! http://www.railpictures.net/photo/462432
There is a OO Scale kit of a Volvo F12 made by Knightwing. They also do DAF 2800s, Mercs and Fodens as well as trailers. http://www.knightwing.co.uk/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?product=OO-HO_Road_Transport_Kits&cart_id=1387288810.325
While sound is not my thing it will be interesting to see how they sound and if they're available separately. It's about time they laughed some sense into the price of sound chips.
Hornby range for 2014 announced here http://www.hornby.com/shop/2014-range/
Intercity HST and coaches, Coal class 60 and maybe some of the Mark II's for me. Nice range it has to be said.
I dont to be honest as I stocked up on a couple of Kato ones. I do have an old one somewhere that I picked up cheap to turn into a DPU but I know Athearn have made improvements since then. They look good but dont expect it to be Genesis quality.
Pedant mode; That's either a Dash 8 or most likely a Dash 9. You know you're sad when you can tell the difference between US GEs.
The loco itself looks awful no matter what colour you paint it. The Bachmann model of it is a beauty though.
They'll have to make some changes Rich, the cabs are now flush without rivets on them and these new ones have developed a big pimple on each side. A new fan to stop them bursting into flames I'd wager.
The do make a nice noise though!
