  1. Enjoyed that Noel. I've always been curious as to what lay beyond both bridges.
  2. Have to admit, I've never really liked that livery. Fan or not, that's an excellent paint job.
  3. I'm aware most think the livery was a failure from the beginning and never worked, along with the cost of refurbishing them at the time. To be honest, I'm not particularly interested either way. From a modelling point of view, I like seeing them mixed in a set. It adds a bit of interest in my opinion.
  4. Good stuff Sean. Your updates always contain something of interest.
  5. Oh, that's tasty Noel. Lovely stuff.
  6. Ah yes. Another innocent victim of a level crossing in this country. All that signage as you approach, along with the red lights, road markings and not forgetting the big gates bouncing about as they descend. Understandably, It can be quite hard to work out what's up ahead. Gobshite.
  7. Great news all round. Obviously, the stand out model from the announcement has got to be the Mk3 stock. But I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised to see the Galway livreried Mk2d included. Not everyone's cup of tea I know, but for some strange reason I've a soft spot for them.
  8. Just seeing this now. Excellent stuff Robert, and something that's badly needed in my opinion. Definitely interested in this.
  9. They look the business Noel. Always a must have on the last wagon in a rake.
  10. Received mine yesterday. Lovely touch as always guys. Happy Christmas to all at IRM.
  11. 124 & 134 have now joined 130 & 127. This is by far my favourite livery carried by the 121 class.
  12. Love this shot. GM power, past and present.
  13. Lovely stuff.
  14. As Miley Byrne used to say... Well Holy God
  15. Cheers Dave. I'm getting flashbacks from my past seeing that name, and none of them are good
  16. If it's an issue for someone, it can be easily sorted. I certainly won't be loosing any sleep over it. Too good a model for that.
  17. Couldn't resist picking up another one of these absolute beauties. 127 has now joined 130.
  18. Couldn't agree more Rich. It wasn't that long ago, that seeing such high quality RTR models of both the 121 and 42' flats on a layout, would have been only in our dreams. Lovely stuff as always Noel.
  19. Still operating as normal. Got some bits and pieces in the post this morning. Des has recently changed his email address, might be why you're not getting a reply.
  20. This shot says it all Right, I'm off to change my underwear.
  21. Without doubt a genius on the pitch Rich. He played in an era when harsh tackles were the norm, and man marking was an art, yet he always came out on top. As you say, it was a decent Argentinan side, but nothing special in 86. He was the driving force, and they were destined to win it with him there. The second goal against England has gone down in history as one of the best ever, but the two against Belgium in the semi final are often overlooked. Both, were pure class also.
  22. Lovely stuff Noel. There's something about the 201's and Ammonias together that I've always liked.
  23. That's the dogs danglies right there.
  24. It's not always easy to tone down bright colours when weathering, without it looking like you've gone too far. No worries on that front with these. That's a lovely job.
  25. 'Tis why I ventured out to the man cave to inspect this beauty further. I can make as much mess as I want out there. You know me too well Rich
