Individual bolts! Now that's attention to detail. Lovely build, very impressive.

Doesn't sound like a request to me. More like another one of your repetitive demands. And if you reckon it's just a simple case of asking and you'll get, why don't you stump up the six figure sum to get the ball rolling. As for the cottage kit suppliers you refer to. Your comment comes across as if they're redundant, and have no place in the modelling world nowadays. Strange, considering many were, or still are members on here, with one in particular a regular contributor.

It wasn't that long ago that modellers were crying out for high quality RTR Irish wagons. Four lads had the balls to do something about it, and gave us what we wanted, and more. Now we have people whining because the models are coming from the UK, and not being despatched from Dublin as with previous releases. Does 2 or 3 days really matter? I've said it before on here. Some people are never happy. I'll leave there, because I'll probably be banned if I say anymore.

Along with the fire guard, a fire blanket is also a must spudfan. Bit of a passion killer. But needed, along with some other forms of protection in this situation. If you get my drift. Better safe than sorry

Great news Fran, and thanks for the update. Mid February or mid May, these are well worth the wait. Loving the loads, they finish off what is a fantastic looking wagon.

Being follically challenged, it's a method I've already tried Broithe, with little success. The PVA tends to disintegrate once you get into the shower, loosing your newly applied hair in the process. Nice work Robert, it's something I've been meaning to invest in for a while now.

Thanks for the comments guys. As always, it's very much appreciated.

I'll bring what's been a very quiet year on the bench to a close, with a few shots of my Silo. The majority of work is now completed, with just a couple of tweaks needed here and there. But for now, it will do as it is.

Lovely shots as always Noel, enjoyed every update throughout the year. I never grow tired of this layout, and look forward to what's to come in 2020 from the Junction. Happy Christmas

Card received this morning gents. Lovely touch again, and happy Christmas to you and yours. Enjoy the break, it's well deserved. I'm sure it will be another extremely busy year ahead for IRM/ accurascale in 2020.

Evening Guys, All this talk going on about containers since the arrival of the liners has given me a little nudge to dig these out. Weatherd these 3 last year, as far as I can remember. These two I've just finished this evening

Good things come to those who wait Dangerous

Very nice Noel. That's an extremely busy Lakeview yard. Sadly, it's a scene that's now long gone. I noticed the ferts and ammonias lurking in the background along with the liner. Fortunately, we can still enjoy it in model form

Always the way spudfan. Never rains but it pours. Maybe it's time to consider selling some organs online. Surely it's worth it, if you can get enough funds for an A class and 121?

Stunning. I had to look at the first photo twice, I thought it was the real thing. Top class layout and stock.

Got home this evening with a smile on my face and a package under my arm. Straight away the other half was suspicious. Her : What's in the box? Me : Erm... It's your Christmas present, I'm just heading out to the shed to wrap it. Her : The shed, to wrap it? Whatever. Don't think she fell for it. Anyway, just been having a quick look. Absolutely superb models. It just gets better and better. Dug out a couple of 20fts to try also

Whether to Weather or Preserve Pristine - Quite the Quandary!

I "feel" a hint of sarcasm off your post. Has somebody got a bee in their bonnet? -

Great paint job on the coaches. Not bad for a first attempt at weathering, especially on a loco. Nice work

I could never quite make up my mind as to whether I liked that livery on the Mk2's. But I have to say they do look well with 229.
