ttc0169 Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Well done Mark and David for taking the time to produce such a high standard of coach. I'll be in touch. Quote
thewanderer Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 At this rate you will have a full DD rake complete with MKIII EGV before the actual railway companies do! Looks fantastic. Well done guys. Quote
David Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Cheers guys! Finally have them nearly up and running. Took a total rework of the CAD to her to this stage with just one or two more tweaks to be made. Because there are already a good few orders for these, there will not be a finished prototype. When the first production model is finished I will post detailed photos. Feel free to ask any questions! gm171 kk Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Those coaches look class. Will the mk3 egv kit be an overlay? Quote
David Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 There will be full roof detail. We're not intending on offering the EGV parts as a kit because Studio Scale Models already offer one. Our RTR EGV will be a hornby or lima donor coach with my own design overlays and finishing and in the case of the enterprise version, will have the appropriate coupling system to connect to the De Dietrich stock. Blaine Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Do you get bogies and wheels with the kits? What about interiors Quote

David Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Looking forward to seeing the final photographs. In regards to a diner, what would a kit entail? Unfortunately due to surprisingly low orders of the kit I have decided not to do a kit version. There was one or two orders and these will be delivered but no further kit orders will be taken. Quote
David Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I expect to have photos of the production standard models in the next few days. Quote
