A batch of them arrived in Las Canarias yesterday, too.

Presumably via Las Palmas de Gran Canaria!

I once tried to catch a train for Puerto Mogan to Claremorris but the only arrival that day was a yellow submarine! :)

The passengers on board the branch set enjoy the comforts of the Park Royal coaches which are being hauled by 130+133 in a recreation of the Ballina branch set of the early 1990s.

Excellent and enjoyable as ever Noel. There is so much going on that sometimes the eye gets taken away from the actual train that is running to see what else is happening.

Early morning at the Lakeview servicing point we see locomotives 148 and 127 in for fuelling and examination,

This deport provides the motive power for the nearby freight yard-so it is kept busy all day....

I never tire of seeing wonderful scenes like this from Tara Junction. Love the three double header consists, those baby GMs are so versatile they can do everything in consist from heavy freight to mainline passenger rail, expresses, and in singles local branch trains, routes to smaller towns like Galway, Waterford, and shunting, pilot duties and light goods trains.

With the increase in the container business at the Lakeview freight yard, an investment has been made in an additional  reach-stacker which arrived at the freight yard earlier,

After unloading it was immediately put to work alongside the existing reach stacker....

Thank you to gentleman Ray of Die-cast models 4u shop in Galway for supplying the model-along with many others,

Well worth a visit-when lockdown is lifted

Both upper and lower levels are connected by a single track-no room for a helix/

Are Lakeview and Riverside on the lower level, with Tara Junction and the bus depot on the upper level?

Any chance, some day, of a cab-ride around one level, then down the connection and around the other level?

The last driver training video was fabulous!

That sure was a quick nine years....Tara junction has certainly evolved through that time from a learning curve with DCC to the present day and the purchase of an ESU lokprogrammer to add even more variety to the sound chipped locomotives....Thank you to everyone that has commented on the layout during that time and to IRM and Murphy models for the fantastic models ....it has been an interesting journey   👍👍
