  1. Hell of a job George, and great detail for such small wagons.
  2. Very impressive Des,I hope to get a few flats first and then save for a ammonia rake.
  3. Great job as that looks tricky enough.
  4. I had noticed the Edit option was gone about a week ago When I needed to correct a missing word.I thought it was my wonky laptop.
  5. I got my February IRRS journal today and some fine photos to mention including the cover of a black and tan 132 at Sligo Quay. Another photo is of Sulzer 1100 in works gray livery on a trial train in 1950 and a gem showing 0-4-0 loco passing through fivemiletown main street on the Clogher Valley line in 1938. Our own Noel Enright has a lovely shot of 209 on a timber ex Westport on the rear cover.
  6. They do look nice, best of luck with them.
  7. Very impressive.
  8. That won't work, she knows my lack of religion,so that would be a dead giveaway.
  9. I think Shem would love the great pints in your local. I would love to visit TJ again. What excuse could I give the wife?-Very important meeting of Irish railway modeler members in Westport?.
  10. Thanks John,I think I may take your advice and go for black beetle 35mm unit.I did order one from a UK supplier around Christmass but had a strange experience in that the supplier would not send out my order despite some e mails. I ended up having to cancel my order for the BB. Do branch lines do Black beetle units?.
  11. They are gorgeous, and I would love to get into Brittish Steam, but the Irish scene has been so active money is the problem.
  12. I was lucky enough last October to visit Tara Junction, and boy what a treat-I think 3 hours passed by so quickly,so much to see.
  13. I hope Barry did not get the sack or is he on another H and S course.
  14. She is nice Shem, and some sexy postmen inside with a mountain of mail to sort would be nice:tumbsup:
  15. Thanks Tommy.I am trying to use up bits that I have, but the motor might not work and I might have to revert back to 35mm black beetle. The plan is to use a TCS T1 decoder in the main body and I have a few LEDs that will fit nicely into the headlight holes.
  16. The weight seems to be fine Kieran, from what I can see no need for extra ballast.I have one MIR bubble so I want to see how close I can build it to the original.
  17. And possibly a cheap way of getting a few cement bubbles. I will post up on going photos to see what people think.
  18. My workbench seems to give me more and more work, however a mate who is handy with wood, turned out these cement bubble tanks and I am going to try a build with parts from a prestwin chassis. The inspection car is still going slow, however I am thinking about trying this motor on the chassis. Not sure if this will work but will come back to it later.
  19. I would love to see the on going build of the Beets Tom,as I only have 8 which are shapeways and hope to increase the wagon numbers at a later stage.
  20. Top marks on the bridge,I love it.
  21. Super layout, keep the photos coming.
  22. Great to see you back bud.
  23. The Enterprise is just a stunning piece of work.
  24. Great stuff.probably not much room for a speaker and A class sound chip.
