  1. Nice looking wagon, Tom. Looking forward on the final product:tumbsup:
  2. Very well done, gents. I feel that despite a lot of rant, argument and discussion on the crowd-funding and prepay for a model threads, something very positive has come to fruition in less than a year. I like the model and will purchase some, most likely a a double digit rake (I don't supposed there are plan for a pack of 10?) May I ask what safeguards will be implemented in terms of delivery of a high quality product? There is not any question that this would not be well designed. I assume some lessons will have been learned from other suppliers mishaps with overseas manufacturers delivering a substandard product. Many many thanks for undertaking this venture!! K
  3. New look this morning. Excellent!
  4. Tom, just for historical reference, the MIR Price list on Wrenneire's thread refers to Revel No51 Blue for Curtains sides, and Pallet Cement Blue (no other manufacturer of number quoted). Would be interesting if you have any in the toolbox to see how they match up. I've seen Eamonn's Cements in the flesh and they really look they business!
  5. I would not mind having a rake of these myself. Stephen, what did you mean by the reference Redplant100 please?
  6. Railway photographer on his rounds looking for a good shot most likely……. hurricanemk1c maybe? Driver lucky not to have a spinal injury or drown in that

  13. Nice job, A4. A lot of work in doing all that I would imagine. What are you modeling with?
  14. Thanks, Noel. Was the first section of the compo next to the diner or EGV? There were also some first coaches. Where did they fit into the rake or were these used only in specific routes/times only?
  15. Very disappointing to see people hoard these for years for a few extra bucks. I'm sure there's many a modeler out there would like to have these to run on a layout but definitely not at that price !! Incidentally, the seller also only wishes to sell these Irish outline on the UK market!
  16. Could somebody please remind me the typical make up of a rake of Mark 3 coaches as they would've been hauled? Obviously there would have been a generator coach on one end and a restaurant at some point in the rake. Were there six other coaches and which ones? And was there a typical formation? Many thanks
  17. Three brand new sets of Murphy Wagons held in captivity for the last seven years by some hoarder http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/BACHMANN-OO-MM1704-SET-OF-3-WAGONS-MURPHY-BROTHERS-LIMITED-EDITION-NEW-/311433441853?nav=SEARCH
