    I purchased several used Cravens that had Kadee couplings. They looked great but would derail during push running where my other craven would not. I can't remember of it was first or second radius track, possibly first. Never figured out what the issue was. Has anyone had any experience of this?

    I think MM5601 is stil generally available and so long as it is you'd be OK. If Seamus doesn't have ot then he'd probably respray one if you acquired it anywhere

    Can anyone offer any guidance on whether there are any prototypical model OO bridges out there pre-asembled?     Hi Glenderg, You guys are great, but I'm RTR for now due to lack of time. I'm not modeling a particular station, just trying to pick up some prototypical items to get on a layout that hasn't started yet. I think my efforts will all go into that. The Irish Bachmann Scenecraft is near unobtainable and I keep an eye out for it, so I'm looking to get the next best thing in pre-assembled for now. Kirley's beautiful night scene in just jaw-dropping. Well done you, that scratchbuild is amazing. Clonmel is a great station to model. I like the limestone architecture more than brick. Kevin

    I wanted to order a 001 class locomotive from SilverFox and am awaiting a reply from John about how the A class is currently powered. I understand they were previously powered by a Lima chassis but are more recently powered by a "Hornby DCC-ready 5-pole skew wound motor" chassis. I don't know how much "old stock" might be out there. I don't know for certain that DCC-ready include a DCC socket or if there are all wheel pickups. Will post if I know more. I may order the assembled kit rather than RTR depending on the outcome of this thread. Noel, you like the workmanship of the bodyshell ,though? Kevin

    If it's that cramped it's likely to put some (but not the hardcore) off. Bigger venue likely to with some amenities likely to attract even attract even more

    Not bad, Noel. Agree with the white lining comment. It would be unfair to judge it to today's models. How easily we forget how far we've come over this period of time

    Hello from one sunny climate to another, I have seen these before but not being an architect or anything, I don't know how much they resemble prototypical Irish outline. There is also another Bachmann stone building similar to this but maybe a better match for 44-252. I'll find a link as I would like to have some opinion from the members as I was thinking of asking this question anyway. Not sure if I'm in the correct forum to ask here....
