DJ Dangerous Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 Would I be correct in saying that @Arran doesn't do 20' MSC or CMA-CGM containers? Only Hornby do the MSC and only Dapol do the CMA-CGM? Or where did you get yours??? Quote

Rob Posted July 8, 2023 Author Posted July 8, 2023 Yes- the MSC 20' were from @Arran. Look great and one of my favourites as they are common here on the IWT. 6 Quote

I missed out on them, and will wait for @Arran's next batch rather than buying the Hornby ones. Have you seen the spare lugs for the flats? Very handy! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/accessories/products/cie-ir-42-flat-container-mounting-lugs-20ft-container 1 1 Quote
popeye Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 It would be nice to get some 40ft MSC in the cream colour and 40ft CMA CGM. Please, Arran. 1 Quote

murphaph Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Still reckon this is some of the best road & pavement modelling I've seen. How about a few oil stains at the bus stop, or did Dublin buses not leak oil anymore by then? The overgrown roundabout is spot on. 4 1 Quote
DJ Dangerous Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Absolutely lovely stuff, @Rob! Feel like I repeat myself every time you post but I just love your layout. The roads and footpaths are excellent! 2 1 Quote

JasonB Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Looks like you've had some additional weathering carried out on 085 @Rob I was never a fan of the factory finish on that loco myself. 5 2 1 1 Quote
Rob Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 Yes- well spotted! I think it definitely benefitted from the extra weathering on top of the factory bit!! 2 1 Quote
