add another 100 quid to the price as well but the looks of it.

Got caught with a UK purchase of some nice Austrian Narrow gauge stuff. When it came to paying it doubled the price to the point a new set would be the same cost. Nuts.

I think all the Model Railway Emporium stuff is the late Chris Dyers ex stock
I went to his funeral and had to collect some bits from his home
I had brought all my confirmation money to try to buy his stock but the family were arguing
and I did not want to cause any further upset so I returned empty handed
I made several attempts to contact them even contacting the family solicitor but failed to get a response.
So I reckon its 30 years of work with him down the drain 🙁

mm 201 & a mm 071 with 5 coaches on ebay.

https://ebay.us/m/WBgM96
https://ebay.us/m/IXE8YL

Finished at €740 EURO:

https://www.ebay.es/itm/327074709006

Can probably round that up to €1000 EURO including postage and import fees, assuming it were an Irish buyer.

€60 each for the five coaches, so €700 for the loco…

That’s more than @BosKonay will be charging for his O Gauge ones!

😂😂😂😂😂

That makes my eBay purchases last week (£515 for the pair including postage etc) look like a comparative bargain!

Absolute bargain compared to that 077, although having a UK postal address definitely helps keep the price down, too.

Death does funny things to people where money and property are concerned. I see it often in my line of work.

Here’s another 071 to watch…

https://ebay.us/m/PFAMnc

The tippex liveried ones seem to come up on eBay fairly frequently but the other liveries seem scarce, hence why I was pleased to bag a supertrain one.

Maybe there will be another batch in future but I hope the IRM C class comes first.

Finished at over €900 for 077 in the end:

https://www.ebay.es/itm/168273564287

€915 plus postage plus import charges.

Now I feel a little less bad spending over €300 on my last few…

Although I must consider selling them on eBay instead of here!

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Was it anybody from here who got the 071 (077) last night?? If so, fair bloody play!! I went up to £600 and that was me done! A fairly new comer to the IE scene here. Come on IRM team... I only want 1 😉 Maybe 2, if they ever get released again 😁

However, I have bought a few items from Model Railway Emporium this week. Absolutely mint 201 (203) 2 packs of IE IRM ballast hoppers and 2 packs of IRM Firts. The 071 would have been the icing on the cake, but sadly, can't win em all...

On my shopping list currently is;

Silver Fox Mk3 DVT, IRM ballast ploughs and an 071 (077 IE)

One day...

Cheers

I must confess that a couple of weeks back, when I saw 086 on a buy it now for £279 including postage, I hit that button rather quickly!

The model is much more pristine than the real thing was when I photographed it at Westport back in the day:

I second this! Preferably ballast ploughs first if anyone has them lying around or finds some down the back of the sofa

You and me both! I mananaged to pick up 201 210 from the Model Railway Emporium and am slowly building up a rake of the MM IE refurbished Mk2Ds regardless of the livery errors, as for the moment it'll do for now. There's so much on my wishlist I must hold off! 😅

Well, this past couple of weeks has certainly been very exciting on eBay...

For some, it's about to get a hell of a lot more exciting...!

I saw this coincidentally as soon as it was posted, could’ve cried when I saw there was no ‘make offer’ button

Luckily, this livery is just out of my planned / chosen modelling period, this being circa 1999/ 2000. However, the 42' flats and Kegs would have been great, if offered separately to bulk up my current rake.

No, holding out for a IE Orange 071...🤣 Mind you, wasn't this livery applied circa 2003?? No no no, watch, but must not bid 😂

Cheers
