Cracking stuff. Anyone even half sitting on the fence with a bit of an arsecheek should order one before it's too late.

I agree absolutely. These pictures are definitely inspiring me to get on with building my NIR works train to go behind the maroon 101 I've ordered.

Though I'm fully expecting IRM to drop a maroon/blue Mk2 bomb on us soon...

No, you're wrong Paul.

IRM are going to announce their Irish Steam loco on 25th December.

This thing's ANOTHER diesel. To quote my favourite Christmas character from literature - "Bah, Humbug"

But as it's the Season, the last words of the same Book. "God Bless us Everyone".

Fantastic, they look absolutely stunning, what attention to detail, each livery is as lovely as the next one, Lads this one is out of the park it looks that good. The Jeep will have its work cut out for it with these 😁. Very well done to all involved. A very Happy Christmas to one and all.🎅

To be honest I'd probably buy an IRM 101 class whichever variety they produced (Hunslet, Sulzer, or GS&WR).

Just what to choose is the problem.

Don't make the same mistake as I did, which was to look through a load of prototype photos to choose the best livery, and then find that was the only one not represented in model form. Doh!

Best to choose from the available models instead.

Here's 101 in my favourite scheme, the only loco to carry this variant; this is a link to Jonathan Allen's photo on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/152343870@N07/25987476158/

All these years and I never realised the chevron was lined. It's a really nice touch and makes it pop.

Agreed. Didn't realise the MV's had it too which got me thinking, what about the 111's and they had it as well. When you look at a lot of photos its easy see why it would get overlooked as its barely noticeable if not completely disappeared so obviously it didn't last long.

NIR MV’s. I’ll take 4. 109 I can do without!😂

109 was a former Maybach and hence non-standard in some ways. But having seen how they have represented the subtle differences between the Hunslets, maybe the Maybachs will be included in the collection of C class?

NIR 109 was well and truly a Metrovick in body and GM in soul!😂

I think it was the NIR MV with the least mileage.
