lovely!....al you need now are taras, timber, container flats and pocket wagons!! sell the fatted calf quick!

You can put it with some autoballasters, 077 did a small stint with them between Drogheda and Dundalk one weekend. Looks far better than the freight livery, think the yellow face just takes from the whole thing.

Thanks lads, it will be a while before it gets to run on the new layout as I'm moving in the next few months so it is on hold. I'll be pulling up the old layout and boxing everything up :(

I agree jhb, I even notice the overbearingness of full yellow fronts when comparing 3000 and 4000 class CAFs. the 4000s look a lot smarter and the same goes for the repainted 071s

I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it, but when I seen it today I loved it. Black and silver was always my favourite, but I have a new one now!

It will be interesting to see how the new livery weathers........

As it is 077 still looks brand new from the paint shop despite spending 5 weeks so far on the taras and a small ballast run to Dundalk. I saw it on Friday afternoon in the sunshine at Killester and only the bogies are rust brown.
