I decided to weather some 001 class locomotives 

007 & 056 were the first locomotives to be treated,giving them the all over oil effect as seen on some of the class during the late 1980s early 1990s,

Friday evening fun on Tara junction,

054 working the 15:00 Northwall-Waterford BELL liner passes 048 working the Waterford-Northwall-Sligo BELL liner,

Locomotive 036 is also seen working the Shelton Abbey-Ballina laden fertiliser

It’s a busy evening under the floodlights at the Lakeview freight yard for the staff on the late shift with bagged, bulk cement and Guinness being loaded and unloaded by the forklift drivers.

A day and night time scene on Tara junction…

From left,light engine 129,017 & 048 coupled to Cravens coaches,

018 coupled to a Mk2d set

007 coupled to the Tara mines train and 056 coupled to the two axle gypsum hoppers.

Christ, it's like blind date, Noel. All we're missing is Cilla Black. I pick number 5, 007 with the Tara's. She sounds very nice.

I have to say that 007 is a looker. Should have named it Seamus Bond.

TJ would definitely attract crowds at an exhibition because there is so much prototypical action. I can't give it any higher praise.

007 is seen here shunting two axle cement bubbles at the Lakeview freight yard earlier today.

A through the years era this Christmas on Tara junction,

From the 1970s Supertrain through to the 1990s,

001 hauling the Supertrain MK2ds pause at Tara junction to allow 080 hauling its 10 piece Mk2 a/b set,

087 has charge of the CIE Mk3 set as 048 disappears into the distance with a Cravens set.
