  1. How did you do the road / car park? Looks good.
  2. Brilliant- look forward to it. Have you a track plan or are you going to 'wing it?'
  3. Please do! I will contribute ten trays (or whatever he wants) also !

    Jason's Workbench

Wow Jason- looks fantastic. What did you use/ How did you do that? I'm trying to source first, and then recreate something like, the container-lifter like used be in North Wall... Source (Ernie's photos)
  5. You must be a mind reader- l have been struggling with this over the last while as my trusty Halfords Grey Primer ran out just at the end of March. I did source this Tygris version from Roscommon (who delivered next day to be fair to them) but the quality is not even close. I would be delighted to try this place to see & will send them a message.
  6. Hey. Long shot l know, but currently looking for a Dublin Bus double decker to suit OO Gauge layout, from around 2000 - 2010 era. (CitySwift or Navy & Cream livery etc) Any help appreciated..... Rob.
  7. Brilliant, Noel- cheers for that. It is exactly what l was looking for- never saw that site before but it's spot on Rob.
  8. Hi. Looking for 'Modern' Platform Seating (OO Gauge) similar to what has been in Heuston for a while now (attached). Any suggestions as to the closest match available? Any help is appreciated. Rob.
  9. Great question- always wondered what camera work best for photographing layouts- l know it varies & depends on the person taking it too, but would be good to know.
  10. The Heuston set up in the late '90's & 2000's (as l would remember it) was the best! Loco hauled sets with Dead end lines, always requiring another loco to be attached at the other end (as @Noel said) to either move the rake (of Mark 3 or 2- occasionally Cravens) out for valeting or to another departures platform. And all before the platforms were closed off like today so you had great views too!
  11. Interesting video on You Tube showing 192 as a pilot at Heuston. Could watch these all day.
  12. Mark III's are always exciting !!
  13. Including the '3 window' Mark III Restaurant
  14. Look forward to seeing it progress! Keep us posted.
  15. Really great layout- not a fan of the 22000 in real life but your ones look absolutely brilliant. Love the rest of the layout too, fantastic!
  16. Looks great! Fantastic pictures!
  17. Any one got photos of Bell Containers in their 'fallen flag' era, after the company stopped trading but the containers were still in use with the logo and 'BELL' wording crudely blanked out? Would have been towards end of 1990's / very early 2000's? Cheers

    IE logo period

    Brilliant! Never saw that ever!

    IE logo period

Interesting- never knew or saw a 071 with an Ammonia set, ever.

    IE logo period

In that livery, it would have hauled: Passenger: Cravens / Mark 2 / Mark 3. Freight: Tara Mines / Container Liners Flats / Sugar Beet / Fertilizer (?) / Cement / HOBS etc Might be easier to say what they weren't hauling! (Ammonia Wagons!)

    ICRs

Maybe l'm ahead of my time- l already love stuff like the 201's & the Mark III's
  22. I never mind losing, or having faded letters or different shades on stock as @DiveController said, it's realistic!!
  23. Hi As a pretty anonymous building over by Platform 10, any clear photos of the Heuston Singal Equipment Room (SER)? Am looking to model something like it if any suggestions, but it's difficult to get a decent photo of it especially from the track side. Rob.
  24. Wondering what is going on in when you see workers with a long iron hook walking slowly alongside the container flats at North Wall, poking at some of the couplings (but not all)? They take out the security chain aswell presumably to enable the containers be unloaded but wondering about the hook?
  25. Great pic- 'Bell' everywhere & 'Freightliner' thrown in- Is there an approx date on this?
