  1. It's brilliant.
  2. You gave me that advice on the deltic chassis it was well worth taking on board,as those Lima pancake motors would drive you soft, and yes plenty of lead. The slow running is spot on too.
  3. You need the a class to be redone with the Hornby deltic chassis which is a super runner and only 36stl from Hattons . My sound chipped a39 runs sweet on this, but does need more weight for better traction.
  4. 184 is the very first of the locos I bought, and I think I will leave her in pristine condition for a change as everything else is weathered.Anthony did a great job on my 156 giving her the filthy treatment and a nice personal touch of my daughters name in graffiti. And funny enough,my fav locos to run together are 190 and 142 weathered by Seamus Graham's which I love watching on my ballast train.
  5. She should be nice when finished.I remember your 66 on a MIR 201 when you poped up to me a few years ago,and I was very impressed with how well she ran.
  6. That's true enough, and with the poor growth and more cold weather this-God knows.
  7. Jeepers Man,they look great.
  8. Tommy as the Bulmers ad says"all in it own good time". Do give me a shout if down in the model county.
  9. I hear on Facebook that it is due to traverse the Rosslare-Waterford Line this week.
  10. Hello and welcome, let us know how things go for you and never be afraid to ask questions.
  11. Brilliant job on the Tara's .
  12. I forgot to mention Tonys repaint is superb.I remember a job on a 001 Silver fox-I think it was 047 in IR livery with no white stripe-stunning.
  13. Well said Tom,and credit to Stephen for the site, and the Mods who do a great job.400 members in a year is pretty good. I never knew it cost 2k to keep servers going in the year,I have no idea on this aspect,so thanks again. I don't think there is a need for feedback section,as any requests are always looked at.Sorry for off topic again.
  14. I would love to go on this railtour only I will be away:((
  15. Oh yes,the collision at Cherryville junction in 1983 was caused by a A class loco running out of fuel.
  16. Cement bubbles seem to be always popular and a 3 pack would ring my bell.
  17. Superb finish on the van,and I look foreword to ballyvoyle viaduct in action.
  18. I think I must have converted you to the dark side of DCC Noel as I think when you saw Gerry's locos with sound, you were hooked,so you can blame me for costing you a fortune, lol.
  19. Redmond Bridge-what a great name for a bridge.
  20. Stunning work there bud.
  21. Thanks Guys. The 121 will get some attention when I finish b101,as the paintwork needs attention and she needs a proper chassis to run on.
  22. Amazing layout Kirley, and the Galway coaches look fab.
  23. A bit of video and photos taken in the last few days- [video=youtube;6fl-ET9-2jQ]
