  1. I did my first bit of weatheing over the wekend on my SSM break van and CIE open wagon. My B101 has not much done lately, but have a TCS T1 decoder hard wired in and have the deltic weights on trial in a few places.
  2. I remember a ITG Railtour in 2007 when we arrived in Carrick on Suir we crossed the Limerick-Waterford cement bubbles, and when everyone saw that it was hauled by 124 and 134,by God you should have seen the scatter to the God like 121s.We felt like facing Inchicore and giving thanks.
  3. And Sally O Brien and the way she might look at you!.
  4. Very nice work, well done, and that bridge looks fab too.
  5. God no wonder the a class had to be re engined-They were all women who did not like their unfashionable Crossley Engines.lol
  6. Join the club Tommy, money is tight alright, and I am trying to save a few bob for the next batch.A lotto win would be very nice.

  9. Welcome to the site Brien. As you can see on the previous link, you can get the Tara wagons, and the next batch of 071 class loco are due next week.If you wanted a more 90s feel, you could get. 001/A class loco from silver fox models. You could also use a rake of craven coaches with a IR 071 loco as a railtour ran to Navan in 1996,so that is another option. If you check out the shops section on This site you can see what shops to look at-Grahems Toymaster Portlaoise,Mark Models in Dublin, and the Model shop Belfast, they all have websites. Don't be afraid to ask any questions. Eamonn

  19. I don't know if they are true, but I do know that a former AEC Railcar-formally Dublin suburban push pull is in a shed in Inchicore suppose to be preserved.I have heard nothing about this unit in a while and the last time I saw it she needed a hell of a lot of work and money.Anyone know its future?.

  21. I remember 078 at Inchicore in 1994-95 and I am not sure when she got the small logo as my photo shows the bonnet section off at this stage. Could It have been at this time 1994 that the small logo was applied?. The last photo is in Enniscorthy station in july 2004,just before the plastics took over.078 will be on my list for the next batch from Paddy.
