    The April issue of The Railway Magazine carries a piece about dualling the Limerick-Limerick Junction section, with the intention of reducing Dublin-Limerick journey times by a sizeable amount. This ties with the proposal for a regular Cork-Limerick train service, proposed by those involved with improving the road between Cork and Limerick. Interesting! Stephen

    The problem we find with Amazon is that, so very often, an item you want to purchase is said to eligible for free p&p but, when it comes to paying, a big fee is added. As a result, we tend to avoid the big A as much as possible. Stephen

    My personal favourite would have been a line from Dungarvan to Youghal, cutting half an hour off the journey time of the Rosslare Express. Stephen
