Merry Christmas to all on the forum, and especially to the manufacturers who make such wonderful kits and models of Irish prototypes for us. I hope you all have a restful break over the Christmas period.

Here's a seasonal photo I took on my recent holiday, and almost the only one that didn't feature a train. I'm afraid they're not quite reindeer either, you'll have to make do with a pair of Ibex (Ibexes? Ibices?)

Happy Christmas to everyone on or off this list

Nollaig Shona do gach duine ar an liosta seo nó nach bhfuil

I hope the translation is correct

Next door's cat has popped in, to ensure that my seasonal food preparation and storage arrangements are adequate.

Having completed a full assessment, she's having a rest period now.

Don't touch the stuff Jonathan

Just a laptop keyboard thats recently gone kaput with several keys no longer functioning resulting in a lot of missing 't' in the message.

Funnily enough the manager of the Bridgetown and Harrison narrow gauge in Maine ran into similar problem in typing a letter to an enthusiast with an old style ribbon typewriter in the 1930s, the more things change the more they stay the same!

Retrieved new wireless keyboard borrowed from teenager for gaming.

Teenagers can be handy oul yokes now & again!

I used to have a few relatively tame ones, but they’re all thirty-somethings and 40 now!!
