  1. Big I-beam mounted in front of the bridge I say http://11foot8.com/
  2. Link to the Fremo site for those playing along at home: https://www.fremo-net.eu/en/modular-systems/h0-scale/00fremo/00fremo-downloads/
  3. I was thinking more of in years to come if they fail. If they are a standard design, then there shouldn't be a problem with sourcing a replacement
  4. Could the stock speaker not be replaced with one of the 'sugarcube' ones in the future? Surely a snipping of a couple of wires & a bit of soldering would cure a dodgy stock speaker in the future, if no original spare ones were to be had?
  5. Very cool! I'm surprised they didn't run a kickstarter to get the funds together for it, and also to gauge interest in it.
  6. Very handy that! The episode on the New Technology is very good. If memory serves, there is a 'steerable bogie' to reduce the wheel squeal on sharp bends
  7. Hi all, for those of you with Freesat (possibly Sky too), there is a show on Fridays at 10.30am on channel NHK World called Japan Railway Journal. I find it interesting, as it covers many aspects of the Japanese railway - just don't expect to see much loco hauled trains! It covers the various little 'third sector' lines, as well as the main company JR East. Lots of the little companies run 'tourist trains' on their lines to generate extra revenue. Japan is on my list of places I want to visit when things get back to some semblance of normal. Maybe you haven't spotted this, as it is not one of the 'regular' channels, but worth setting the box to record it & give it a go I reckon!
  8. Nice! It reminds me of when I was around 9 or 10, and going on a CIE Tour trip with my uncle & gran
  9. That sounds great!
  10. There was a 'wobble' to them, which can be seen in the vid below. The fix was to add some shims I believe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqYh8Ei-zUI
  11. Here's to the day that the RPSI can run a tour with the full size versions of the train in the vid!
  12. I fully agree with all sentiments expressed by everyone above - a massive thank you to Paddy for the fantastic work he has done over the years, bringing us true quality representations of the Irish locos we all know & love
  13. How can I get in contact with him to get my name on the backlist?
  14. Arghhh!!!!! My bloody favorite Irish bus of all time and this happens! When I left Facebook, I lost access to the Irish Buis models group, which was where I was hearing about upcoming releases. I thought I had asked Derek to keep me posted on future releases by Messenger, which I retained when I left FB, but I could be wrong, or he just forgot. Either way, I really hope they aren't all pre-sold, and that I get a chance to pick these up.
  15. bump
  16. Just ordered 125 & 131 in B&T from Marks
  17. If this was going to happen, you would have to have a Joe St. Leger figure
  18. That's a nice little bonus to have come with the property!
  19. I remember a few years back on Donedeal seeing a Honda XR 250 for sale that was an ex-BnM bike
  20. Thanks for the update - please post here again with details of who/where they can be ordered from when orders are being taken
  21. Cracking job Noel! Certainly a cautionary tale for anyone having a go at painting a resin body for the first time. The transfers for the white 'tippex' lines sure do work great for giving a nice crisp line alright
  22. I heard about this on RTE Radio1 - amazing to see the progress, and what scenery!
  23. It's off to the poor house for me!
  24. Just a lot of extra form filling at a guess
