Broithe Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Would the 'Bus Lane' script not be the other way round, i.e., to be viewed from a bus driving towards it on the left, if you see what I mean?

Broithe Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Hmmmm-those council workmen,I'll have to speak with the foreman tomorrow.....It's poor supervision, really. That's the bonus gone.. Don't worry, only a pedantic bugger would notice it.

Nigel Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Very nice collection there Noel.I love those yellow school buses.I wanted to buy some but are not for sale at the moment. Hi, don't worry, the schoolbuses will return shortly. There were painting issues with the type of nylon plastic used in the original prints, and I am investigating something better. If I can get a better material, I would rather wait and offer that. Will have news posted here as soon as possible. Many thanks for your interest and support.

ttc0169 Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 Evening lads, I've been working on some M class buses over the past few days, I bought the kits of Jim Poots,-(thanks Jim) Here are a few photos of the early stages of construction-and of course I'll post more as I go along, The kits are simple to construct, The kit-"out of the box" Models undercoated and interior being painted, These two will be finished in the Red/Orange expressway livery-my favourite.
Garfield Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Lovely stuff, Noel... to me, the M class were the definitive 1980s Expressway bus, even though any time I travelled on one was when going to school!
Tarabuses Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Didn't the M class start the Expressway concept? They were magnificent vehicles in their day.
ttc0169 Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 Didn't the M class start the Expressway concept? They were magnificent vehicles in their day. Correct, sometime during 1975 was when the expressway brand and livery was introduced, The livery always looked well on the M class.

BTW Noel do you know what colour the seats were as in some pics they are red with a black rear and sides and in others they look to be brown any ideas Hi Anthony' date=' I remember some of the expressway versions had maroon/red coloured seats,so I've done mine with red seats and cream head rests, Other versions of the M class had a brown type seat,a bit of a mixture throughout the fleet, A second coat of red/orange livery was applied earlier, and a few passengers added...
