After seeing your post I just tried from my iPhone and it worked ok. When I use 'click to choose files' on the bottom of a new post I then get asked where to upload the photo from on the phone: 'Take Photo or Video' or 'Photo Library'. If you are using Android you should be offered a similar facility to browse your phones photo library. Click the required photo but do wait for it to upload to the site. You should see a little progress bar scale as the image uploads, then type the post message body and 'submit reply'. Quote
enniscorthyman Posted November 4, 2017 Author Posted November 4, 2017 I seem to be able to upload photos from my phone again. Anyway,I got a few Provincial Wagon double stack beet wagons,so I have one completed. 5 Quote

leslie10646 Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Heavens, Eamonn, you Wexford men work quickly - you only got the kits from me a week ago! The corrugated open is a thing of "beauty" - your weathering really makes it look the part. Great stuff! Leslie 1 Quote
Noel Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Very nice Eamonn. Love the paint job and weathering, especially the Bulleid. I see you dispensed with the need for the daft 'staples' on the single beat. I couldn't get them to work but thats probably more a reflection on me. You've inspired me to have a go with a double beat I've had on the shelf for a few months!!! Quote

The double kits are a lot quicker to build than the single.Yes the brake gear on the single are quite tricky. I have just applied rust wash so far and will try a few others. Quote

John-r Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Lovely job on the double beet wagon, the bullied wagon is very well done. I have just finished building 14 of Leslie's brilliant bullied wagons and was looking to weather them. Your wagon gives me inspiration, the rust effect is great. Thanks. Quote

enniscorthyman Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 I just started on a SSM ballast plough van kit.I plan to use extra detail in Dart castings buffers and brake pipes. The kit comes with the Prestwin chassis. 4 Quote
WRENNEIRE Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Wonder if it would be worth the IRM lads doing good chassis's only? How would the van sit on an IRM One? 3 Quote

I also have one of these kits, but I've delayed starting it until I can work out the most efficient way of widening the chassis to the same width as the van. I can't remember where but I've seen on the forum where the chassis was made wider to match the body. Made a big difference visually. Quote
enniscorthyman Posted December 11, 2017 Author Posted December 11, 2017 I have just finished my Ballast plough van.The only problems I encountered was with the roof which is difficult enough to fit.I put s few bits of lead inside the body for a bit of weight. Some photos of the build won't upload for me for some reason. 4 Quote
