Garfield Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Another day, another survey! Richie and I are out and about to measure-up something which will be the first stage of a real game-changer for IRM. We’ll reveal more on this one closer to the release date of the model in question. 3 Quote
Weshty Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Very professional looking there lads, I hope you have your Safepasses at the ready 2 Quote
RedRich Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Pat's look says can you guess what it is, with a bit of I bet you can't. Richie's says wait until you see the detail on this, and you know he means it. Two men at this stage who know exactly what they are doing, that's all I care about. My own guess at the moment is a bit ambiguous it could be a number of things. One thing is that it keeps things interesting for us the customer. Looking forward to it being revealed in time and thanks again for keeping us updated lad's we appreciate it. Rich, 2 Quote
Glenderg Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 What foliage? That's the loco side panel in green - proper green, not jhb green. The texture appears to look like foliage, but that was the advanced paint, with weathering, that bullied used on these turf burning experimental locos... @Warbonnethave I said too much? 3 Quote
jhb171achill Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Tis indeed the Proclaimers! They're making a model of Scotrail! 2 Quote

jhb171achill Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 It's Rosslare Strand's beach. They're planning a RTR DSER 0.6.0 goods engine. Quote
Warbonnet Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 While we receive the first shipment of bubbles this weekend, the factory in China is working hard to get the rest of them ready. No better modellers in my opinion! 5 Quote

Warbonnet Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 We're feeling like the elves just before Christmas at the moment! After a day of rest after the hectic SDMRC show over the weekend (well, a couple of hours off) it is back to the grind today. We're checking and packing orders that came in online over the weekend as well as pre-orders for Cement bubble pack A's. There's a huge amount to get through, so your patience is appreciated! Anyone who has ordered a bubble pack A or B with the forthcoming C and/or D packs will receive their order when the balance of the shipment arrives in a couple of weeks. 3 Quote

Broithe Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 There's no rush with mine - but it would be useful to know when they are in transit, so the recipient doesn't call the bomb squad out.. 3 Quote
Warbonnet Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 We'll keep you posted Jim! Sorry... 1 Quote
Warbonnet Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Another exciting day in IRM Towers as we received the baseboards for our test track from Model Rail Baseboards. Dave has done a lovely job on it too! 6 Quote

RedRich Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Respect to Baseboard Dave you could play snooker on that if it had some pockets. Rich, 1 Quote
Garfield Posted November 9, 2017 Author Posted November 9, 2017 That's the problem with air freight: you think you can fly a shipment of bubbles over the UK but you end up being detected by Dover chain home radar station. We're just lucky Fighter Command didn't scramble 3 Squadron's Hurricanes from Hawkinge... 1 Quote
Georgeconna Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Veritable Bubble blitz there. New board, any full time wagon testers required in IRM Towers? The Set up there from what I saw looks Fantastic. 2 Quote

Well, we can now reveal that this survey mission was for something else entirely. The photo was taken 'somewhere on the eastern side of the Irish Sea' because early in the new year we'll be launching into the UK market with a new brand called Accurascale. The tooling process is already underway for the first products in this range, although you'll have to wait until February 1st to see what they are. And don't worry, this won't affect production timelines for IRM products... 4 Quote
RedRich Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Look forward to seeing what it is when it launches Pat, and the best of luck guys. Rich, 2 2 Quote
