The Red Arrows is a great coup for the air show. The Italian team are no slouches either. Hopefully the Air Corps will display some choppers and the Pilatus PC-9M rather than the heavily armed Cessna 172 stick insects :)

Bray Airshow traffic likely to be very heavy from 10:30 onwards. It can take over an hour to get into Bray on Airshow day if the weather is good.

Two cracking fighters. The Viggen sounds great in afterburner compared to other aircraft and the Draken still looks exotic even by todays standards.

The best display I have personally watched was the RAF Typhoon solo display at Salthill in 2007. Even with the heavy overcast and limited could deck it was an amazing performance better than Thunderbirds who were headlining the show.

A lot of early stuff will always look 'modern'. B58, Starfighter, etc.

Hard to believe it's sixty years ago.

Pretty sure I saw the Viggen on its approach to Baldonnell over Tallaght around noon. Awesome looking thing it has to be said.

Yeah, it flew over the office here twice, some rumble when you are directly under it.

Can imagine! The Italians flew directly over Casa Warbonnet yesterday on their approach. Some racket!
