@Kirley,

Yes, there will be brass parts for these in the kit.

@Dave,

We don't have a website at present but can be contacted through this site.

Superb! Long neglected by most; apart from obvious like Leslie! The absolutely essential one has to be "H" van, and the side door van..... Most goods trains were composed almost entirely of these pre 1973.

The curtain siders really look the part, the Dapol chassis is probably the nearest thing to the CIE standard 20' underframe of the 1960s

Rtr OO gauge H & sliding door vans are already available from James Mackey misr@eircom.net, he does not have an on-line presence, there was a favourable review of his H van and corrugated opens in the May 2013 New Irish Lines.

Lads,

They look very smart! I have never built a wagon kit before, would they be easy for newbies? And

Best of luck with both wagons:tumbsup:

Hi John,

The chassis is a straightforward injection moulded kit and the resin casting simply goes on top. There are no advanced skills necessary to complete these kits.

John,

No truer word spoken. The chassis kit may be 50 years+ old but it really does the job, easy to assemble, a tidy little runner and the bonus of metal wheels and coupling gear.

Sorted.
