Are you getting the 071's ready for some supertrain Mk2's;)

I have to say the Supertrain Mk2s don't look too bad-yes you might see a rake behind those 071s yet....depending on what sort of a deal I can get for 6 or 7.PIMP

Under the watchful eye of the carriage depot supervisor, carriage pilot locomotive 156 has been joined by 152 to shunt/swap around coaches in preparation for more new arrivals over the coming days....

Thanks Andy and Jhb,

My Mk2 Supertrain coaches got a run this evening behind 087

I'm happy with the set of six, although having been inspired by Glendergs excellent weathering technique I will in time do a similar effect on these coaches-as they could do with some grime etc

I think there's a limit of eight pictures per individual post - not that that may be the problem that you're currently encountering.

Hi Geoff,

Yes I'm slowly gathering together all the various bits and pieces for this new layout, I've decided to name it The Claremorris to Athenry junction railway and it will be based on both stations-with possibly Tuam station at one end and a MPD at the other-I have approximately 14'x12' space to work with,

I intend to start work in early March....:trains:

Fabulous scene and excellent cityscape. The station and platform 1 looks really alive with all the folk, as does P2 & 3. The whole scene is a hive of activity. The Lima coaches match the colouring of the locos really well.

Thanks lads,

Another location that's hasn't been photographed often is the works area,

Seen here is GSV 3177 about to undergo a boiler change and some minor bodywork patching up.

Afternoon lads...Sunday engineering works on Tara junction sees a top n tailed HOBS train with 078 leading and 082 trailing while on the opposite line tamper 751 does a bit of badly needed tamping.
