To celebrate 40 years of the 071 class locomotives in Ireland the general manager of the MPD arranged a line up of some of the 071 class liveries down through the years' date='including a visit from NIR 112, Sadly 080 in IR livery was unable to make it as it had failed before departure from the Western road MPD.

An early morning view of Tara Jctn sees an increase in freight traffic thanks to the addition of extra storage sidings and loops, Loco 160 hauls the bogie bulk cements into platform 5,while 083 has charge of the empty timber train, In the distance 0117071 hauls the CPWs working the DFDS liner.
ttc0169 Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 Thanks gents, After receiving some collision damage to its skirt loco 8208 is seen here in the running shed being attended to by the fitters, The replacement skirt is being hoisted up by the works forklift and will be fitted over the next couple of hours of the night shift. Loco 0117076 is in for fuel,oil and water while loco 216 will be released to traffic for a trial run tomorrow.
