ttc0169 Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 In a multi million euro investment the Lakeview rail freight depot has been been expanded with more space for storage of containers,It currently caters for up to sixty containers of various sizes, It now has more space for storing Guinness, fertilizer, and cement both in pallets and in bulk powder form, An extra loop/siding has been installed and concreted into place which will allow for the loading of timber trains, Two new Hyster 16 ton forklift trucks LV1 & LV2 have been purchased and will be for unloading the Guinness, fertilizer pallets, Here are a selection of photographs of the unloading of the new forklifts and a night time scene as the BELL liner arrives behind 085 ready to be unloaded with the reach stacker under the new floodlighting tower lights Enjoy.... 4 1 Quote

jhb171achill Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 As always, superb. I love the sense of a big city commotion, hustle & bustle, and sheer busy-ness that this layout oozes with. Its like an afternoon at Heuston or Connolly in 1972 - there’s something going on in every corner, no matter where you look! 2 Quote

Love details like the hoses connected to the bubbles, and the FL6 HGV. The spoils looks great with loads and being visually toned down. Its train town supreme at Tara. 1 Quote

They do indeed, but your wonderful layout picture scenes make sounds in ones head they are so alive IRM seem to have invaded north wall. Fabulous scenes as ever, like the loads in the shed and all the action, I can hear the sound of a busy yard in my head. The rake of 9 bachmann IR mk2a coaches looks spectacular in the background. 1 Quote
