He said that some of his 91 person entourage were enraged by it... Edited January 10, 2023 by spudfan 1 Quote

Think somebody posted somewhere that IR were planing to re-engine the 22k trams to meet emissions limits, and 071s may be replaced sooner than original planned due high volume of harmful NoX emissions that generation of diesels spew out. Electrification seems inevitable as our rail network is so small in terms of track distances. Heritage stuff will probably get exemptions as their nett emissions are tiny compared to in service rail services. Quote

Broithe Posted January 21, 2023 Author Posted January 21, 2023 I see that Google maps has some excellent close-up pictures via Street View (or, River View, perhaps?), should anybody be tempted to model the viaduct. https://www.google.com/maps/@53.2685165,-8.0402137,3a,72.2y,132.46h,94.58t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sk-T_DN_zJuA8-wnf2QF2lg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Quote

Galteemore Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 On Met line at Chorleywood yesterday and passed this. Met Rlwy and SLNC both used Saxby and Farmer for signal cabins. This one needs painted green! 5 Quote

minister_for_hardship Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I was quietly impressed with the added sound effects until they stuck in a United Statesian chime whistle. Quote
Galteemore Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 (edited) In Cardiff Bay today, where ships were controlled by semaphore signals…..some still have arms but not these ones. I’m presuming they’ve found a home at the nearby rugby stadium…,, Edited February 16, 2023 by Galteemore 3 1 Quote
