Or at least two big O Gauge diesels from Rails if Sheffield!

I wonder whether the seller of that bus will reflect the proceeds in his income tax assessment?

Back in the old days, 'they' had many ways of spotting things, they would record the phone numbers in newspaper small ads, to spot that 'amateur' car dealers and I remember one chap being asked how he had spent far more through just his Nectar card than was declared as his total annual earnings, etc...

I’d be more concerned about the buyer - probably getting a divorce for Christmas.

Not to be missed (I'm smiling) three of my earliest GNR(I) wagons:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/205015333639?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l1120&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=898e1ab47f144e9abd6d692a64ca38fa&bu=43025934942&ut=RU&osub=-1~1&crd=20240928045607&segname=11021

It seems as if the seller has been taking a cue from The Boys and is trying to sell my wagons IN THREES!

Try him for about £60?

I wonder if it is the same guy who was trying to sell them at £25..00 each a few weeks ago?

Nice rake of four RPSI green re-sprays for €157:

Could do with some flush glazing, but better than nothing.

2600 Class DMU kinda sorta not really

Repainted Bachmann Class 150.  Fair to middling effort but the cab front is way off.

Not Murphy Models…

All for £250 plus postage.

Cheers

There's an IRM RPSI set listed by a UK-based eBay seller for just under £300 at the moment, so someone's onto a nice little mark-up.

This one?

Same seller, Trainsa-67 / Andy's Trains and Things has the O Gauge Jinty's for sale at twice what Hatton's were selling them off for, and Rails subsequently sold them off for.

Yet Gaugemaster have them for sale at €200 EURO each.

While Hunslets are a hot topic, here's one for €180:

Murphy Models MM0113 in NIR livery for €550:

https://www.ebay.es/itm/365223747631

Was advertised for €450 yesterday but the seller was advised to review their pricing:

https://www.ebay.es/itm/365220165111

Well above what I'm prepared to pay...

€160 to €180 from retailers three years ago.

€375 would be double the price, and I'd maaaaaaaybe stretch to that for one.

Probably €250 each for the new re-run, likely on sale over the next few months.

Same seller has a load of Irish locos for sale, as they have done in the past:

https://www.ebay.es/usr/magr216967

Some of the pricing isn't bad at all.

I’m not sure if I’ve bought myself a bargain or a load of junk!

MIR bubble kit for a tenner. I think it’s complete and unstarted. Building this ought to encourage IRM to make another batch…

At the very least it should give me a CIE vac-braked underframe, and the proceeds to a charity.

If Lima had made it, there would be running numbers surely? It looks like  a repaint, so it's not RARE, but UNIQUE (and too dear?).

Thoughts @WRENNEIRE - you're the expert.

I definitely had one of those Lima Mk1 composite coaches back in the 1980s. It's a genuine model, though not of a real prototype. Issued about the same time as the Class 33 painted as an A class (which I also had).

Were those Mk2 EGVs ever made in Supertrain livery? They often seem to come up on eBay in the later IR or IE schemes, or the one-off to match the 201s.

The GN wagon is now up to £50 !!!

Hi Paul

Thanks for the heads-up.

Back in the day, they were sold by me for about £10 (I didn't charge postage / exhibition costs then - I've learnt my lesson).

I can do a run of this wagon

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275863223833

for about £17 a pop in time for Bangor in April.

In this livery, it has the advantage that a swipe of grey makes it a pure GN wagon, or left as it is it is a CIE open which was photographed by John Langford on the CB&SCR in the early 1960s. I'll do a different number of course!

I'll start a new thread and ask for takers, a pre-sale of, say, thirty, and I'll risk it.

Over to you guys - PM me. No money, no comeback if you don't make good your "pre-order" ......
