Not sure if Adverts fits under the Ebay watch so feel free to move this if needs be, but Millipede over there has a good selection of Irish stock (seems to be mostly Silverfox models?) at very reasonable prices. Might be of interest for those looking for more specific stuff.

Gerry's stuff quite often features in the Bargain Watch thread.

That's fair, I can see why. He'd be well to advertise on this forum too, I'm sure he'd have more customers that way.

Anyone know if this is genuine? Would be nice for the record society if it was.

It says "signed by..... W H Mills". But he wasn't involved, as I understand it, until the formation of the GNR in 1876. That's 20 years later than the thing is described as dating from. Something doesn't add up there, but I suspect it's an incorrect description rather than an indication that the drawings are fake.

It is also possible that Mills signed a copy of it at a later stage, but that the drawings are indeed dating back to 1856.

I've seen things with dates on them long after much of the contents were consigned to the history books. I've a GSR Appendix signed and dated up to 1985!

That seller's been offering the UTA Jinty's at that kind of price since Hatton's had them going cheap last year.

Looks like Dapol had a few O Gauge models the past year or two that didn't sell too well. The Jinty, the Terrier, the 14XX, and Rails sold some O Gauge wagons off really cheap a few weeks ago.

Good spot!   Pricey- but l've seen worse asking prices in recent times....

Agreed, some are advertised for silly money, but those two, if it's an Irish buyer, will also have tax charged, so it gets even sillier.

€60 is fair for a bus, and you can stretch that a bit, but €90 or €100 or €110 is insane.

And then tax on top!

😂😂😂😂

If it is an Irish buyer, depending on location, have a day out and pick them up. No Postage or tax and fees could make it worth it.

I once did a 250 mile round trip for 2 wall display cabinets, They were collection only. But that must have put others off as my £5 starting bid won.

Picture Pride but the ones I got were the dearer mirrored versions.
