Again this set was produced in 1998 and only 300 sets made

Would a set of those mk3s and the mk3 restaurant car be for sale at bangor?

I remember the Modeller's Den off Aston Quay. It was a Post Office also I think. I bought a few Tamiya models from him back in the day. Unfortunately, he's long gone.

Yes I bought some stuff these too. Even places like ELTOY and BANBA had some train stuff. Think Marks Models is about the only one now.

Was there a Murphy Models place somewhere about Aungier Street?

Those sets are hard to find online.

The dealer selling them told me one of those went for €1500 

he showed me a screenshot @WRENNEIRE posted abt it 

I can’t seem to find the post but I’m delighted anyway and I hope to buy a silver fox push pull and make my own mk3 gen van in the mean till I’ll use my mk2d gen van 

I noticed in the last photo the coaches had different tints of orange likely from sun exposure or from warm lamps

Good luck with them, they're a nice set . As well as the push-pull driving trailer, you can also get a Mk3 generator van from Silverfox (ready to run or kit form). SSM also do an etch that allows you to convert a Mk 3 coach to a generator van.

So in the 3 standard set there is 7135,7156 and 7141

with the 201, there 7129, 7151 and the restaurant car is 7411

I’ll be getting ready run from silver fox and I’ll find a realistic but cheap mk3 gen van as no point splashing money on something I’ll be painting

Will check my running numbers when home. Pretty sure that one pack has s more yellow shade of orange and one has a more red shade of orange, from the factory. Don’t think there were mixed shades in the same pack.
