Warbonnet Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 Following on from the news about the completed production of our Bulleid corrugated open wagons yesterday, we can now unveil he decorated samples of our flat wagons! Based around the same chassis as the corrugated opens, it's the second on a series of wagons which we will produce that featured this innovate style of triangulated chassis arrangement. As you can see, we have received samples of both the purpose built flats, and the Permanent Way Department (PWD) flat which was converted from redundant H Vans. These wagons are now in production and will follow the open wagons into stock, arriving on time in Q3 2024 as per our launch announcement. Priced at just €89.95 per triple pack, and with our usual great value of 10% off when you order two or more packs, and free postage and packaging around Ireland and 3% cashback with our loyalty points, they make perfect sense for your authentic mixed coupled goods trains of the CIE golden era. Until the modernisation programme of the late 1950s / early 60s, old pre-GSR wagons were to be seen mixed in with GSR ones and modern CIE equivalents. Thus, a train of flats could have CIE, GSR, GSWR or possibly MGWR or DSER examples in the mix. By 1965, very few of the older ones remained. 2

Sea Breezer Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Any word when these should arrive with customers lads? 1
BosKonay Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 We had a small delay with some labelling issues, but should have all preorders away this week, and the balance of stock on sale.

BosKonay Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 All paid orders have shipped at this point - if you've not had an update do check in your account area and / or with support.

My flats still show as not fulfilled when I checked my account just now - I got my opens this morning though (and very nice they are too)
meathdane Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Same for myself l, opens arrived this morning. Flats are unfulfilled. Just sent across an email
Wexford70 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Same for me. DPD dropped my parcel in the unenclosed porch and ran. Never even checked I was home
Westcorkrailway Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Now to be fair I’m in the same boat as everyone else with 3 flats missing from my parcel this evening but I only paid for my pre order 1 week ago!
BosKonay Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 We are checking the fulfilment sync up at the moment. If not showing fulfilled yet wait until tomorrow and if no change drop us a note to check.

murphaph Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 My flats are showing a "weird" tracking number. It is neither An Post nor GLS. It shows the originating country as "Germany". It looks like a "Wish" tracking number where the seller bulk ships stuff from China to a warehouse in Germany, before it is re-labelled and handed over to DHL (which in Germany is just the post office's parcel delivery arm, not an express courier). The opens are being handled by GLS and look "normal". Strangely, when I track the parcel, it says it has been in transit for 14 days already, but that can't be right, can it? The IRM order page says it was fulfilled today!
BosKonay Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 we had a bit of labeling issues at the end of May, which is why some of you will see tracking active for a week or so when it was only actually fulfilled today or yesterday, but if you allow 24 hours for the tracking to update all should be well

jhb171achill Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Received my Bullied opens today. They are absolutely stunning. The level of detail and overall realism is outstandingly good, as we would expect. Top marks, yet again, to IRM. I would snap these up if you want them, folks, as they're bound to be a top seller! 3 2

My order for Flats shows as paid and unfulfilled with an expected delivery time frame of quarter 3 2024. Yet the flats are showing as in stock and I've had no notification as regards shipping.
BosKonay Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 All is in hand and certainly no need for worry. Drop support a line with your order number if nothings refreshed by Monday once the carriers wake up.

Same here, I had one mixed order with bullied opens and flats, the opens arrived but no flats, showing as a part order, I'm sure it's just a minor hiccup and by Monday, Tuesday latest, it's going to be all good, worth waiting for. 3 minutes ago, BosKonay said: All is in hand and certainly no need for worry.
