It’s been a year since IRM released the fantastic 001 class locomotives onto the model railway scene, 

Here we see 007 on shed with 086,126 and 132 on Tara junction.

Friday evening fun on Tara junction,

124+134 work the FO Heuston-Ballina Cravens set as 127+132 work another Cravens set to Tralee 

208 passes through working the Northwall-Belfast Adelaide BELL liner

177+129 work the Waterford-Ballina empty timber train

080 work the 17:00 Limerick-Heuston Mk3

After all the passenger traffic has finished for the night,we see pioneer locomotive 001 pass through hauling the magnesite train as on the other line locomotive 201 is seen WLC hauling the rail head treatment train (track cleaning) around the layout. 
Aer Lingus 767 takes off from runway 24L while enroute to Heathrow.

Fab scene. Reminds me of Waterford station of old, when full Mk2 and Mk3 rakes were regular traffic at the station that once had 3 through roads.

It’s the low rail adhesion season on Tara junction, we see the first of the 001 class locomotives-(054)-prepare to be moved onto the wheel lathe at the MPD.

Evening rush hour on Tara junction….

Both 2600 railcars have been fitted with an upgraded chassis which have sound speakers fitted as standard,

They also have interior lighting and have seated commuters and of course drivers….!!!!

Early Saturday morning we see activity at Lakeview freight yard,

143+130 have arrived from the MPD to shunt and work the bogie bulk cement liner,

001 arrives LE from the MPD and has been coupled to the laden Fertliser liner with 036 coupled to the BELL liner. 
177+129 are prepared to work the empty timber train.

Day turns into night at Tara Junction…

Freight and passenger operation at the junction. 

152+132 hauling the Waterford-Northwall BELL liner is followed close behind-(signal to signal) by 130+143 hauling a Limerick-Platin bogie bulk cement,

124+134 hauling the Galway-Heuston Cravens set. 

018 hauling the FO 17:00 Heuston-Ballina Cravens set. 

017 is seen hauling the Sligo-Northwall oil train.
