Unfortunately there are not due till Q2.  2026 as per project page, checked with IRM the update was sent in error,

Hi everyone,

LET THERE BE LIGHT, AND SOUND!

 

Pushing model railway electronics to places they have never been to before, our forthcoming ICRs are a world leader when it comes to OO gauge railcars.

 

With fully independent lighting for interior, exterior, destination, door locking lights and more, all off one decoder, it has pushed our friends at ESU LLC - LokSound to the absolute limit.

 

Here is a preview of our station arrival and departure sequence as the doors open and close, with a sneaky preview of the sound, which has a speaker in every car, too!

 

A full preview of the sound, and update on production will follow later this month!

Sadly not my era but this looks and sounds incredible!!!  Truly world leading indeed and I hope they do very well for IRM after the huge effort to make the project happen.

Thanks lads. It’s been quite the journey as we wanted to not simply make a unit but make a template for units that lead the space in realism, accuracy and fun to play

Now the hard work has been invested, producing future units including Irish outline will be much simpler, quicker and cost effective.

Encouraging to know that far from any door being shut on future railcars (all here will be aware of the challenges); this gives the impression that an 80 or most importantly, an AEC is not beyond the bounds of possibility...

Looks and sounds fantastic. Just wondering how easy or hard to gain access to the inside to pop in passangers?.

The photo above shows the roof off and pcb in place. pop out the screws and you’ve full access to the interior without having to fiddle with the underframe.
