popeye
PLASSER TAMPER MACHINE. This is what i have been working on over the past year. it is starting to look like something at last. The motor & bogies are from Hollywood foundry in Australia. Bachmann buffers. It is based on the NIR No5 and dimension are not all accurate and some are judged by eye. Kirley
Now that's a challenge. I'm sure you are pleased with the Bull Ant, it's an excellent motor. How did you do the bogie frames? Looking forward to seeing No.5 finished.

popeye
The bogie frame are made from plastic, a fiddly job. The motor and gears are a bit noisy but when they get run in a bit they might improve.

popeye
Plasticard is just 10 thou, very thin and hard to cut. You need a sharp knife.
