Nearly finished my second ballast plough van.I had to sort the roof antenna on the first van as I made a bags of it first time around. As can be seen the roof has not been glued on the second van yet as I need to get proper glue that won't cause any clouding from super glue like what happened on the first van.Still a bit of touching up and weathering

to do.

Next for me is plough van which in the process of the roof finally getting a bit of

Glue.I have 3 tankers to finish off as well.

The 121 has annoyed me for ages as the

Painting needs to be touched up along with sorting some sort of chassis.I have a class 20 chassis that could come into use, any ideas for it for a 121 or C class?.

Nice video and good job with the ballast plough vans Where did you get the ballast wagons from??

Thanks for comments lads.

The ballast wagon body's are 3d

printed from shapeways and are

mounted on dapol prestwin chassis.

I used break pipes and brass hand wheels

from dart castings.SSM provide the decals.

Very interesting. I must try a metal kit but a little cautious and I keep getting distracted by other things. Are all the American locos for donors ? I often wonder why the ho american locos are quite cheap compared with oo gauge European stuff.

The Switcher body's were to be dumped by a friend

who used the chassis for 121s, so I rescued them as

they are beauty's. I don't know what to do with them.

The switchers came from a on line shop in USA and

are not cheap either.

Is the SD7 (Southern one) a Proto 2000 body? Might be interested if it is.

I am not sure Fran, I thought it was a Blue line

sd9 but you are welcome to it for free along with

the other switcher body's if they are of any use.

I have another sd body as well that can go.Both

could be missing some bits. The chassis was to

be used for a MIR 071.
