warb Posted May 28, 2022 Author Posted May 28, 2022 The real reason for the log jam on barrow street was the installation of new presses under the fiddle yard with adjustable supports which also allows for access under the boards. 7
Robert Shrives Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 That looks very tidy minded - hopefully you can now sort stuff to suit Good use for mini legs as well . You will need a back edge "crash barrier" now as recovery of that empty bogie flat/ wagon of choice will be pretty near impossible. Happy shunting when time comes. Robert 1
Rob Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Definitely not because of myself and @Dempsey- l knew it!! Very impressive addition. 2

DJ Dangerous Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Watching videos of the Inchicore open day... Was that your Grand Hibernian that made a cameo on the layout?
warb Posted May 30, 2022 Author Posted May 30, 2022 Dj That was a member of South Dublin Club coaching stock that was on their Kildare layout and a fine version too. Warb 1

Thanks Warb, Yep that was my Grand Hibernian - unfortunately Kildare is not long enough to run the full train, had the remaining two coaches in the box on the day. PR 1 1

murphaph Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Few layouts provide so many great angles per metre! And nice peaceful videos. The sight of an 8 piece fert on the move really is something to behold. 1 2
murphaph Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Is there not supposed to be a "top" on the brake reservoir cylinders? 1
Bob229 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Outstanding layout, really enjoyed the video and new wagons 1
Rush and Lusk Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Looks Superb - a great addition to your extensive fleet, doesn't appear out of place at all, particularly on that amazingly long straight track run ! 2

226 Abhann na Suire Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Looks unbelievable @warb!! Just wondering , is your layout an end to end, or is there a loop behind all that hyper realistic scenery so that trains can keep running?
warb Posted February 6, 2024 Author Posted February 6, 2024 12 track fiddle yard at the back to allow for full running. Thanks warb 1
David Holman Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Remarkable and wonderful on so many levels. It is rare to see urban scenery like this done so well. 1
