Popular Post Warbonnet Posted February 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2022 Hi George, Many thanks for your kind words. As we all know, Irish outline is a very small niche in OO. For the A to perform so well and beat such stiff opposition (some household name with very popular British outline locos below us) is frankly mindblowing. Thank you to everyone who voted for us, who has supported us since we begun and who has purchased an A class. You guys make this all possible buy voting for us with your wallets, as well as in polls. We are truly humbled. Our development team are over the moon naturally! Cheers! Fran 21 2 3 2 Quote
RedRich Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Fantastic achievement men. I agree with George that the A is a far superior model. Rich, 2 2 Quote
Adrian Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 You guys rock! I love that you are taking the market by storm and both your companies have become the new gold standard for what quality looks like. I watched two Hornby employees review the A class recently and the two lads were almost embarrassed by how good it was, how many features were in it and how easy it was to open and add the decoder. Keep up the great work! I adore my two (count ‘em) A classes ! 2 Quote
David Holman Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 If Irish models are niche, where does that put GT3? Well done with the A - there is something almost indefinable about it and there are few, if any rtr models of this quality. 2 Quote

So proud of your success. This. A huge amount of pride felt by me too and I have nothing whatsoever to do with IRM apart from being a very satisfied customer but one can't help but have a sense of pride in an Irish firm taking the modelling world by storm like this. There is literally nothing stopping you from being the market leaders. The foundations have certainly been laid. 5 Quote

Noel Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Congrats to IRM/AS Its staggering to see a young Irish company make such an impressive impression in the BR market. Hat's off. Superior German model engineering standards at Hornby price levels. 1 Quote

mmie353 Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Wait to see how the UK market will appreciate what they are about to get with the locos that Accurascale are going to release with the Class 37, 55, 92 and the Manor. Well done to IRM/Accurascale for what you have done so far and for what lies ahead. 2 1 Quote

One slight downside is that the perfection of my new 'A' class makes all my bodge jobs look naff! One delight however is showing visitors the fire extinguishers in the cab... Well done to the whole team. LM 3 Quote
