So €412 for the loco
      €40 postage
  &  €130 tax

€582 Sweet heart of Jesus!

It's kind of disgusting at those prices.

Three new A's or a used 071...

And that's assuming that there's no red mist.

john paul strikes again 🤯

Seriously, leave em for modellers to buy and stop hoarding them as if they appreciate faster than crypto currency.

Have had to resign myself to a life of "no 071 until IRM decide to make one" (ARE YOU LISTENING IRM????????) 😅

141/181 that im JUST ABOUT willing to pay for are still within my grasp, but probably not for long, and im coming back into "no big purchases for another few months" mode.

agh, the perils of an irish GM modeller...... at least i am amassing a healthy 121 fleet.

Seller's username sounds familiar, like a former poster here.

And a few 071's and a 201 at absolute bargain prices...

That they may be left with them.

Even if I could afford them I wouldn't buy them.

Couple of Eric Vick European Haulage trucks on eBay:

And a few Barline Ireland / UK / Europe trucks, but they're a bit more expensive:

Iggy Madden Galway truck, too:

As @murphaph pointed out to me, the Iggy Madden trailer has a very nineties look to it, even if the cab doesn't.

Tinnelly tipper says 1/43 but looks smaller (nice mirror selfie, too) :

EuroLines Van Hool has an Irish look to it:

Pretty sure that was a bit cheeky of Marks a year or two ago. They listed several of the Irish steam locos as a warehouse find, but had less than they listed. I "bought" a few only to find out a day or two later that they didn't exist.

Try a sniper, Sean. I have one added to Firefox. Snipe my max and walk away. Very grateful to told about snipers by @murphaph

Add another 50 to post it, plus whatever the tax man decides, then suddenly theres actually a cheaper one for sale within Ireland.

I purchased Murphy Models Cravens coach MM1504 on ebay.co.uk and received it today to find a 1533 coach in a MM1504 box. It's re-packaged ready to return to the seller tomorrow. If anyone looking at buying a MM1504 coach just beware in case this comes up for sale again.  Picture in ad was not clear enough to see the number on the side of the carriage, this is picture I took.image.thumb.jpeg.55202d126f28d74b22ffc1086311e2b6.jpeg

@Seanwas looking for Cravens coaches before. Might be worth dropping him a PM.

Delighted to find 171 for sale, but sadly priced at three times what it's worth... Same seller as that Cravens bundle:

Box lids probably put on wrong boxes by accident so worth getting clear pics of carriages to check numbers before buying( I should take my own advice...). Cost of some Cravens carriages on ebay are eye watering.

Just so you know. Anpost are billing for customs on packages sent from the north right now. Currently have one in appeal. Not sure if I'm just unlucky or the NI protocol doesnt matter anymore as I sent in the appeal over a week ago and have heard nothing.

I don't think they're supposed to be doing that - although - for many years, while A Post treats the north as local post, Royal Mail treats the south as "international". That's bad enough, but comparing like with like, Royal Mail charges (even internally) are well above those of An Post to start with!

Im pretty sure they are not, hence the appeal, conveniently they are swamped with a backlog of appeals at the moment. so It would have made a lot more sense to just pay them the 9 euro.

Between this and addresspal making it up as they go and not being able to prove the money has actually gone to customs it does make me a little bit suspicious of where that money is going. Im not the only person online who shares these suspicions. 🤯

When funds allow. I’ll get a BnT 141 of some sort. But the problem is I know for a fact that loco will go for much more then €143 in the end

I suppose it would. For a West Cork layout, of course what you really need is silver and green "C"s!   Same as I do for late 1950s Dugort Harbour.......

....You might get something nice. :)

I did.

It's the SSM kit for the Class 800, to build Maedb. Was going relatively cheap, about 80 Euro less than new, so I had to have it.
