That is sad 😢 What shocks me is that they don't even wait for the dust to settles. A few weeks after selling out from directly they are touting them out on eBay. It must be frustrating for the IRM lads. I think it seems more pronounced and brazen because we are a small community....

What can IRM do? They've already been paid.

However, those who didn't order direct in time to beat the touts will always lose out unless there are subsequent batches.

IRM cannot do anything of course. I just don't like these chancers with such a big mark up. It's life though.

It would be interesting to find out what percentage of the original Park Royal buyers - who ordered direct from IRM - only purchased in order to flip on for a profit. I reckon it would be significant.

That reminded me that I have "071" no.085 in the shed waiting for 21mm conversion. It's been that long since I bought it that I actually forgot I had it - meanwhile, values seem to have increased due in no small way to the flipper community. £450 is very nearly 3 times what I paid for mine.

A 21mm 071, the next best thing while we wait for @BosKonay‘s O Gauge 071!

Been there, done that. It's why I've spent the last couple of years playing catch up and trying to source long old out items. I'm trying to be more proactive nowadays. Trying... procrastination is in my genes!!
