Site and pages very slow to load

For the past two days I have noticed that the IRM site and pages/topics are taking a long time to load - sometimes up to a minute.

This does not happen with other websites.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, still an issue. Won't open on mobile at all, and when it does on this ("big" computer), some pictures won't open.

No actual outage reports. Maybe an ISP issue or related to all the DDOS issues?

If it is ISP, then it must be affecting a few, as mine's quite slow to make a connection to anything on IRM now.

Agreed. IRM is extremely slow, and has been for several days. It works eventually but I keep imagining a dial-up modem chirping away in the background.

In comparison, RMweb is running at normal speed.

Same here, only slow loading irm pages, other sites as normal

Same here and from looking at the previous posts it appears to affect forum members on both sides of the Irish sea, therefore I presume we are using different ISPs?

For me, update is the desktop now loads it at reasonable (but not fast) pace; mobile now very bad loading it, but lightning fast with all other websites.

I expect they haven't got time to wait for the site to load!

It does seem to be having a good moment at present, for me at least. 

I was about to have to resort to actually doing some modelling rather than just writing about it.

90% of the time, it's normal for me, but it occasionally almost stops - just over the last few days.

I can detect no obvious pattern to the "slow times".

Likewise down here en Canarias, unlikely that I’m sharing an ISP with many forum nembers, the forum has been dog-slow this week, so slow at times that it’s almost frozen.

No doubt them RMweb admins running a DDOS attack on us here!
