Darius43 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 For the past two days I have noticed that the IRM site and pages/topics are taking a long time to load - sometimes up to a minute. This does not happen with other websites. Has anyone else experienced this? Darius 1 2

Broithe Posted December 16 Posted December 16 It was also happening for me, but seems back to normal now. 2

Won't open on mobile at all, and when it does on this ("big" computer), some pictures won't open.
WRENNEIRE Posted Thursday at 14:58 Posted Thursday at 14:58 Really annoying now, lots of reloading and just hanging about 1

BosKonay Posted Thursday at 22:39 Posted Thursday at 22:39 No actual outage reports. Maybe an ISP issue or related to all the DDOS issues?

Agreed. IRM is extremely slow, and has been for several days. It works eventually but I keep imagining a dial-up modem chirping away in the background. In comparison, RMweb is running at normal speed. 3

John-r Posted Friday at 09:37 Posted Friday at 09:37 Same here, only slow loading irm pages, other sites as normal 2
Signal Post Posted Friday at 11:38 Posted Friday at 11:38 Same here and from looking at the previous posts it appears to affect forum members on both sides of the Irish sea, therefore I presume we are using different ISPs? 3

Wasn't aware there were any Distributed Denial of Service things going on. Is it some group of hackers getting their practice session going? 2 1
Tarabuses Posted Friday at 16:45 Posted Friday at 16:45 Just for completeness, I am having the same problem this week. 1
jhb171achill Posted Friday at 17:31 Posted Friday at 17:31 For me, update is the desktop now loads it at reasonable (but not fast) pace; mobile now very bad loading it, but lightning fast with all other websites. 1
jhb171achill Posted Friday at 18:30 Posted Friday at 18:30 Would the good folks in IRM Towers be able to comment?

I expect they haven't got time to wait for the site to load! It does seem to be having a good moment at present, for me at least. I was about to have to resort to actually doing some modelling rather than just writing about it. 2
Broithe Posted Friday at 18:50 Posted Friday at 18:50 90% of the time, it's normal for me, but it occasionally almost stops - just over the last few days. I can detect no obvious pattern to the "slow times". 1
derek Posted Friday at 19:17 Posted Friday at 19:17 My connection on the laptop kept asking me to reload, last night. Did my head in. It's fine tonight though Christ! Just as I went to upload that comment, the thing stalled again 2
Horsetan Posted Friday at 20:59 Posted Friday at 20:59 OK so, seems to have reverted to normal speed....for now. 2
DJ Dangerous Posted Saturday at 00:56 Posted Saturday at 00:56 Likewise down here en Canarias, unlikely that I’m sharing an ISP with many forum nembers, the forum has been dog-slow this week, so slow at times that it’s almost frozen.
Northroader Posted Saturday at 16:37 Posted Saturday at 16:37 I get the idea that it slows down in office hours, late afternoon -evenings it picks up.
