Hi, and thanks for looking,

And welcome to my workbench thread, here I will be posting everything that I will be working on in the future.

First thing to build will be a LMS NCC brake van, shown at the end of this vid.

And The 70 class will be started late this year, early next year, and the chassis is going to be used for a scratch built loco body to go on.

Hello fellow friends,

As Halloween approaches, school is off for 1 week (yay) which means I can get down to do some serious modelling. What I'm hoping to do, is to start work on a LMS NCC 12ton van. A very unique van.

But as with every model, re search is key, to get as accurate as can be.

I look through books and websites along with photos to see if I can get any info or pictures on the prototype. I was lucky to find some plans on this brilliant website, which I will be working from.

An order will be placed for more plasticard and some roof ventilators for the van in due course.

Hi,

I haven't started the 12 ton van yet as some much needed research needs to be done, like detail on the under frame.

But I have started another side project to keep me going.

It's detailing a dapol 5 plank wagon.

I know it looks messy but it will all be tided up later on,

And I know i should have used brass, but I haven't got any so. I decided to make do with plasticard.

Any comments, questions, constructive criticism, etc... Please feel free.

Would this pass as a BCDR wagon, I know the under frame is completely wrong, but?

What a difference from an RTR wagon or kit! I like my locos and coaching stock clean, but you've proved that goods stock really looks best weathered!
