[Less of the old, K !!!

Thanks Dave for posting.

I thought one of the meanings of old was "showing the understanding, wisdom, or behaviour that results from long experience of life"

....so maybe you are right!

Do any of the trade stands offer discounts at these shows?

No but haggling is highly encouraged. If you ask Chris Dyers Assistant, he'll pleasantly explain the offers......

Eh, not quite sure what that means, as in 'dream on' or yes its part of the dance! :)

At a show earlier in the year in Dublin I could hardly get a word in to ask a trader about some of his stock, pricing, etc, as he was engrossed in idle 'chit chat' with some tyre kickers who seemed to be pals of his. After waiting 10 mins to talk to the guy I left and instead bought a rake of coaches the next day over the phone from another vendor for €5 less per coach than the 'chatty' guys show prices!!! He should have watched John Cleese's famous sales training videos 'how not to lose a sale'.

We will be there with our new Irish 00 Gauge modular baseboards and launching the Minx Microdrives point motors. Come over and say hello. Were in the main hall.

I might be in Dublin on saturday. I am not sure of my travelling arrangements and was wondering if I am on public transport, what is the best way to get to St. Pauls, is it best to go via DART and if so which is closer Killester or Harmanstown

If I take the car what is the parking like at the venue.

Dart to Harmonstown I reckon

Loads of free parking at the school

Any idea Dave how long a walk from Harmonstown Dart to St Pauls.

I will have the young lad,and you know how much youngsters hate to walk

these days.I hope to be there on Saturday morning,so watch out for a handsome

bald chap with a 9 year old chap dragging him around.

About 15min walk with young uns. I'd cover that distance in under 10mins myself but I walk fast. I live in between Harmonstown and Killester DART stations right on the line.
