DJ Dangerous Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Any hints as to how the footbridge will be sold? Will there be several different fixed models, or will it be sold in modules, or will different models be compatible to make it fit any layout?

We are trying for a flexible solution based on a modular design so that direction of stairs and span will offer the best options. It’s a challenge but we hope to make it the default for footbridges in much the way our Rawie bufferstop is for modern bufferstops.

Will be well worth waiting for, specially if the design is going to be modular!

leslie10646 Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Portadown had subways, but Robert's bridge looks very nice and is very tempting!

jhb171achill Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 I think this project is just a bridge too far. 5
Galteemore Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Could always have a game of pontoon or a glass of Baileys if it’s getting too much 1 3
Broithe Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 (edited) They're just keeping us in suspension. Whoops, I see that one has been used before. I really need to have a longer span of attention... Edited November 23, 2024 by Broithe 2

Mol_PMB Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 To ensure compliance with the regulations they’ll have to install lifts, or zig-zag ramps that are so long that they cross the county boundary! Not to mention protection from the OLE that’s now spreading further (great news!) 3
