I would'nt worry too much about that item, it's been relisted about 4 times in the past month, and at that price, it'll be listed again, and again,

Hope to have 2 of these sets on here next week

One with the Green Mogul which I believe has a few miles on the clock, no track or traffo

One with the Matt Black mogul and is said to be in mint condition with track & Traffo

Will stick up a couple of pics when I pick them up

I know the gent in question, he has a massive collection of all different stuff. As far as I know he isn't a member on here.

I have seen his many items on ebay over the past few months and must say that he doesn't seem to be a reluctantseller.

All the locos seem to be unboxed, and there's no mention as to weather the detailing packs are included or not.

And, his name and address are there for all to see, in the seller information at the bottom of the eBay page....

He has a tendency to burn the boxes!

stinks of repro. The Art Deco shading doesn't belong on an 1888 plate. Plus is too clean/tidy.

It isn't Art Deco, that pattern of Hunslet plate does exist from that era.

Maybe whoever had it shouldn't have painted the back of it and cleaned it so much and buffed out all the scratches and dings.

Hunslet Worksplate

Say it could be the real deal alright.
