Noel
Oh yummie. I can hear the theme tune of an 1950s period drama on TV and imagine I'm seeing these scenes on TV. Top class.
Kirley
2016 and I'm cutting up part of the layout. But it's for a good cause. This is a Dawson Hall kit for Antrim Signal Cabin done in UTA colours. The roof is still detachable at this stage as I want to detail the interior. Meanwhile at a different time and location a Woolwich K1 is heading for Clonmel with some Fuel Oil.

Kirley
Absolutely stunning! Are those the ratio kits? No Stephen the interiors are from this Web Site http://www.lcut.co.uk/index.php?page=pages/manuals&title=Manuals It takes time to paint each individual piece before you put it all together

jhb171achill
I absolutely love this layout. It really captures the atmosphere superbly well. The scenic backdrops make it really feel as if it's IN the countryside, where a railway should be.

Kirley
Cattle Movements on Kirley Junction. After Fair Day Cattle were moved to a nearby Cattle Pens for loading. Ex S2 Class GNR 192,now UTA 63 backs onto the Cattle Wagons. Movement out of the siding. Across the level Crossing just before Kirley Junction Station. Enters the Station in very bright sunshine, sorry for the poor picture quality. Passengers starting to notice the 'aroma' wafting down the platform. They are wondering how long will it take to pass through the Station.
jhb171achill
Isn't it incredible. By FAR the heaviest goods traffic ever on Irish railways, and one of the main reasons some lines were built, and this is the first time I've ever seen it accurately modelled! Any modelled rural Irish station is incomplete to an inaccurate level without a cattle dock...... the single most neglected part of modelling. Why? Top marks, thus, to Kirley - looks fantastic. Garfield
Nice work, Kirley! Any modelled rural Irish station is incomplete to an inaccurate level without a cattle dock...... the single most neglected part of modelling. Not sure about that claim, JB. Most layouts I've seen which are based on the time period where cattle traffic existed do have cattle banks... jhb171achill
That's what I mean, Garfield. I'm saying that without such a thing, it would be inaccurate. Unless, of course, it's modelle on a suburban halt, or "modern image" ie surrounded by day glo people, security fencing, bus shelter stations, weeds and graffiti!
