John-r Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Thanks very much Flying Snail for taking the time to reply, it was very helpful and much appreciated. looking at Google maps, which I never thought to do in the first place, the parking does seem very limited and I couldn't see much local parking, also after driving three hours from Kerry getting the Luas to the City centre then a bus followed by doing all that to Get home, does seem to look like a bit of an ordeal. PLEASE no-one take this the wrong way, it's just my initial observations and if anyone has any solutions (except stay at home then) for close by parking I'm all ears. Thank you. 1 1 Quote

I'm glad it was helpful John. I'll be driving in to it along the N7 too and I plan to take the M50. As for parking - the school is beside a residential area, and its the weekend, so parking in one of the adjacent housing estates should be fine so long as you follow Blaine's advice and you don't block driveways etc. Quote

The current Mount Temple car parking spaces, which are accessed off the Malahide Road, wont be affected by the construction of the new school building. I understand the main contractor has moved some plant and machinery onto the school site beside the old squash club via the Howth Road entrance, which is where construction traffic will enter and exit. Sounds like the new venue will be a great improvement in terms of size, and circulation space instead of small little classrooms of years gone bye. WRENNEIRE Posted October 22 Posted October 22 With regard to parking at the show we have just finished negotiations with Dublin Fire Brigade who will now allow us to use the parking facilities at their OBI Training facility just opposite Mount Temple Great work by 2 of our members in arranging this, Brendan Kelly & Eamonn Greville Please use this car park if travelling to the show as parking at the school is limited and needed for wheelchair vehicles etc Access via Malahide Road D09 EW70 should get you there 8 9 2 Quote
